Event Recap: Business @ Breakfast with Tremains

Thanks to Tremains for hosting this Business at Breakfast.

Deborah Peake spoke on the key components that make up the Tauranga residential market.

These included supply issues, such as not enough land and current and future housing shortages, together with demands influenced by population growth, inflation, cost of living, bank restrictions and government regulations. Stats were shared for the Tauranga market and showed the changing nature of the last few months, particularly relating to the current plateau we’re experiencing.

Deborah also talked about the kinds of deals they are doing now, and how they see the next few months progressing. She said overall there’s a gradual market upturn predicted, with 4-5 years until we return to the ‘old days’ and a new normal.
