Employer feedback wanted by Avalon

Avalon Aotearoa Charitable Trust is committed to creating lives of value and believes in collaborating across sectors to bring about positive social change and development within the Bay of Plenty.

The team are embarking on a research project focusing on employment and the workplace in the Bay of Plenty.

With a specific lens on attitudes towards employing people with disabilities, Avalon wants to use this research to highlight where the opportunities and barriers currently exist, as well as consider future initiatives that will have a positive effect on not only employment rates in the Bay of Plenty, but greater retention rates, employee satisfaction and improved bottom line for businesses that embrace diversity.

If you are open to participating in the research, please contact Kerry Webb at kerry.webb@avalon.org.nz or 027 236 2280 for further information.

Alternatively, you can complete the online Employer Attitude Survey through this link (approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will remain open to  until 17 July 2020).
